How IPL works
The IPL energy effectively treats pigmentation, broken capillaries, ageing, open pores and scarring. Each condition contains a particular pigment, IPL is applied at a safe level to the pigment and generates heat to repair, renew & strengthen the skin. Results will vary depending on the skin condition being treated, how long the condition has existed and what previous treatments have been used. Many patients achieve a reduction of up to 85 – 95% with the remaining conditions lightened and reduced dramatically.
Treatment course
Photo rejuvenation is a progressive process that requires 8 – 12 treatments, spaced between 2 – 4 weeks apart to achieve desired results. Possible side effects
Redness of the skin and mild swelling lasts from an hour to 24 hours. In rare instances the redness may last a few days and could be some grazing which typically subsides over a short period of time (Very Rare).
